Tortuganónima

Tortuganónima is an instrumental rock quartet founded at 2012 in Santiago, Chile, conformed by Gérard Bertin (guitar/synth), Gabriel Molina (guitar), Felipe Valdovinos (bass/samples/synth) and Octavio Cañulef (drums/samples/MIDI). They are well known for the variety of effects and guitar loops, their deep bass lines and spasmodic drum’s rhythms. Their sound moves around the music genres called math rock and post rock, with some colors  of noise-rock, progressive rock and ambient. The band is part of Chilean label LeRock Psicophonique, in which roster includes bands like JovenAbuelo, Inverness, La Ciencia Simple, Munn, Osorezan, etc
