Mariam Wallentin is known as the female part of Swedish duo Wildbirds and Peacedrums, the nom de guerre that Mariam Wallentin, has chosen for herself.

In this solo adventure Wallentin leaves the mix of minimalistic blues, pop and rock impro that has been the characteristic of Wildbirds & Peacedrums behind, and steps down into a dark hole filled with vibrant creativity. An oriental ambience fuses with the warm silhouettes of experimental pop and unpolished soul in a way that nourishes both body and mind.
